In the small district of Alveringem (West Flanders), lies Hoogstade, situated at Bachten de Kupe, an area leading up to the West Coast, Mr and Mrs Ignace en Monique Willekens-Cleenewerck offer a unique holiday home for rent. The renovated barn and old forge are specifically designed to house guests visiting the region. It can accommodate up to 25 people at a time. It's also possible to reserve for max. 32 persons but then we use another rate. For a number of people more than 25 a surcharge of €60/person/weekend will be counted. You can stay from Friday noon till Monday noon but also during the week from Monday evening till Thursday noon (see the calendar button for free periods, the booked ones are coloured red).
On the ground floor you find a complete and modern kitchen combined with a comfortable dining area. The lounge has all the luxury one has at home: there is a seating area, TV, DVD, Wi-Fi, pellet stove and a separate toilet. On the first floor there are 6 two person bedrooms and 7 bunk beds, with 3 bath rooms and lavatories. On the ground floor there is another two person bedroom with a shower, suitable for wheel chair patients or elderly people.
During the summer this stand-alone house bathes in sunshine all day long. The house has a southern directed terrace with garden furniture (parasol included) and a barbecue installation. From the terrace you look towards the garden with lots of toys for the children. The playground is completely shut off from the main street and other dangerous obstacles.
